After enjoying the benefits of Christian Science for many years, and receiving many healings, I wish to offer this testimony in expression of my deep-felt gratitude.
About fourteen years ago, when I was seven, I made a trip from Cleveland, Ohio, where we were living at the time, and visited my sister in St. Louis, Missouri. While there, I was taken seriously ill. My sister's husband was a chiropractor, and they wanted me to allow their system of healing to be used. They also suggested calling a doctor for me. However, I stood firm, and insisted that nothing but Christian Science be used. Through a friend I found the name of a practitioner. Absent treatment was given, and I was requested to visit the practitioner's home within four hours. My sister and her husband stated that I was too ill to leave my bed, much less to make the trip to her home. The practitioner said she would work for me immediately, and in about three hours I was at her home, and had experienced a complete healing.
Since the foregoing healing, my family has made its permanent home in St. Louis, where I had the wonderful advantage of attending the Christian Science Sunday School.
