The following testimony is given with a heart grateful for the many blessings that have come into my experience since I began the study of Christian Science.
About five years ago I married into a family of Christian Scientists. My blessings began after the birth of our first child, when I became actively interested in the Christian Science movement.
I should like to tell of the wonderful demonstration of Truth when our second child was born. Up to the time I was confined, I earnestly studied Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and was able to do all my own housework, suffering no inconvenience whatever. I had Christian Science treatment during the birth, which took place in a few hours and was completely normal. In less than an hour afterpains had ceased, and I ate a good breakfast. I sat up on the second day, stood up on the third day, and went home on the seventh day, entirely well. The knowledge that God is Love was very clear to me throughout the entire experience, and as a result I found myself happier, healthier, and more contented.
