My healing came very slowly, for I was the victim of extreme fear, which seemed aggravated and prolonged by my being constantly reminded of this disease over the radio, in newspapers, and in magazines. However, as the truth of being dawned on my awakened consciousness the fear lessened, and finally disappeared.
Then, too, there were certain faults of disposition to be eradicated before I was ready to go up higher. Resentment and self-will had to be seen for what they are—lies against God and His perfect man—and I was forced to make an honest effort to overcome these faults, to love God and my fellow man, and to keep my thought in harmony with the one Mind.
