For the many blessings and benefits I have experienced through studying and applying the teachings of Christian Science, I wish to express my sincere gratitude. I have learned to love Christian Science for the good it brings. More than all else I am grateful for the mental regeneration and spiritual understanding which, as I have proved, come to one who sincerely hungers and thirsts after righteousness.
I have had many physical healings, and have been wonderfully protected from accident and in adverse circumstances. Many times business and financial problems have been solved, supply has been provided, and on two occasions legal questions have been settled amicably.
About five years ago a chronic condition that seemed to need a surgical operation was met and overcome, almost without conscious effort. At one time my hand was caught by a car door, which was slammed so hard that it latched, with my hand caught between the jamb and the door. For just a second I thought that my hand was crushed. But I denied that suggestion, and while my hand was being released I declared, "There are no accidents in Mind." My hand felt numb and useless for a few minutes, but I continued to declare the truth on the way to my place of business. In about ten minutes all pain had left, and I was able to attend to my duties without discomfort. Other than a very slight abrasion on one of the finger joints, there was no sign of injury.
