Dear God, I love Thee!
How sweet it is to know
Thy mighty love enfoldeth me
Wherever I may go!
Dear God, I thank Thee
That Thou art All-in-all;
The power of Thy protecting love
Includes the sparrow's fall.
Dear, God, Thou guidest
The nations everywhere;
Thy "great white throne" rules all mankind
With just and tender care.
Dear God, forgive me
For foolish doubts and fear.
Cause me Thy face alone to see,
Thy voice alone to hear.
Dear God, I trust Thee—
All wisdom, Life, and Love—
The only Mind, the only power,
Beneath, around, above.
