It is with a deep sense of gratitude that I wish to give my testimony of the blessings received through the study and application of Christian Science.
For the past thirteen years, my son, who is now nineteen years old, and I have relied wholly upon Christian Science to meet our every need. Many years before this I had felt the influence of Christian Science through a beautiful association with two girlhood friends who were Christian Scientists, and I had served as substitute organist in a Christian Science church; but it was not until years later, when I had a physical ailment which medical treatment had failed to heal, that the thought came to me, Christian Science has done so much for my friends, why not try it?
I received my first healing through reading the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and from that moment I have never doubted the truth taught by our Leader in her writings. Now I know that I desire only to love the truth in the way that Christ Jesus commanded us, "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind."
