In gratitude to our loving Father-Mother God for His manifold blessings, I submit this testimony.
The first healing of which I am aware came to me when I was a small child, shortly after my family had become acquainted with Christian Science. Although at one moment it appeared that, according to human sense, each breath might be my last, my mother chose to rely upon the truth which makes free, and her slight understanding of Christian Science completely healed me.
Several years later I was so completely healed of a serious impediment of speech that not a trace of the difficulty remained. Teeth, the removal of which four dentists, as well as a physician—who was consulted without my authorization— had declared would necessitate a surgical operation, were extracted in the usual manner and without the slightest pain or aftereffects. A severe case of ptomaine poisoning was healed within a few hours' time, without the help of a practitioner, as was also a rash, which completely covered my body, and which was dispelled within forty-eight hours. A badly crushed finger tip, which mortal mind decreed would never again be normal, grew out so perfectly that it is impossible to see that it was ever injured. With the aid of a practitioner, a broken wrist was restored to normalcy in approximately ten days.
