I wish to add my testimony to the many published in the Christian Science periodicals.
I shall never cease being grateful to God, to our Way-shower, Christ Jesus, and to our beloved Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.
Over two years ago I was forced to give up my position because of a nervous breakdown. I doctored first with one doctor and then another, but seemed to grow worse instead of better. Then my sister, who had been interested in Christian Science for five years, asked me to try it. As I was at the stage where I felt there was nothing left in this world for me, I was willing to try anything. I purchased Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, and began reading the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly. I also subscribed for the Sentinel. The result was that I immediately began to improve. I also went to my medicine cabinet and poured out all the medicines I had been taking for about six months. I have been cured of stomach trouble, headaches, the smoking habit of eleven years' standing, and many unpleasant traits of character.
