THE CHRIST IS HERE!

From the December 1941 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Today the Christ is here within our midst
To heal and save with tender, holy might.
The truth shines forth with heaven's brilliancy
To turn all darkness into glorious light.

God's man is ever sinless, upright, pure;
He stands, Soul's image, perfect, strong, and free.
Immune, untouched by error's dreams of sense,
He lives and moves in Love eternally.

Today God's goodness proves supreme o'er all.
Life, Truth, and Love, our Father-Mother Mind,
Binds up all wounds, fills saddened voids with joy,
The sick makes whole, gives sight unto the blind.

Today the Christ is here within our midst
To open eyes to see what God hath done
And ears to hear the angels' message clear:
Thou art, 0 man, God's well-beloved son!
