It is with great joy and gratitude that I testify to the healing power of Christian Science. We can never be grateful enough to our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, for giving us a clearer understanding of the Christ, Truth, which heals all discord and inharmonious conditions.
Christian Science was lovingly offered to me by friends who had experienced its healing power. After undergoing an operation and being dismissed from the hospital in greater pain than before, I was very fearful and despondent. I was offered "Miscellaneous Writings" by Mrs. Eddy to read. After reading this book I found I was free from all pain and fear and was soon able to resume my normal duties.
At one time, when I had been crushed between a wall and a motorcar, all sense of inharmony was overcome by reading in Science and Health (p. 278): "Divine metaphysics explains away matter. Spirit is the only substance and consciousness recognized by divine Science."
