In November, 1927, I experienced my first healing through Christian Science treatment, at which time I turned wholeheartedly to the study of Christian Science. In 1929 I entered a state university, and despite financial difficulties I was enabled, through the application of Christian Science, to complete my education.
It has been my happy privilege to serve six years—three in the nursing department—as an associate at the Christian Science Benevolent Association Sanatorium at Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts. For this experience I am deeply grateful.
I have been healed of many minor physical difficulties, among which were corns and seed warts, the latter healing being accomplished by my realization that there are no parasitic beliefs in God's kingdom. I have been helped in the correction to some degree of an irritable and fretful disposition. That for which I am most grateful is the help received in overcoming a despondent sense of feeling the futility of human existence.
I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church; also for class instruction and for the many Christian Science friends who have helped me.—
