With a heart full of gratitude for Christian Science and for the blessings it has brought into my life, I give this testimony.
In Isaiah we read, "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." Through the help of a friend, and by realizing the spiritual meaning of these inspiring words, I was healed of a severe attack of tonsillitis. This healing occurred about twelve years ago, and it convinced me that Christian Science does heal the sick, as well as bring about regeneration, for, as the Bible says. God has "set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God."
Since that time, I have had many beautiful healings through realizing God's presence and power. Among these are the healings of a sprained ankle, infected finger, influenza, pneumonia, the need of wearing glasses, and severe pains in my back. The healing of pets in our home has brought to me a greater sense of God's love and care for His entire creation. Recently I was healed of the lifetime habit of biting my fingernails. When I realized my oneness with God, infinite Love, and knew there was no separation between God and His idea, man, the healing was complete. I could never express enough gratitude for this healing, for it revealed to me my relationship to God as never before.
