For several years I have wanted to send in a testimony to tell of some of the wonderful healings I have had in the last twenty-four years, including those of ptomaine poisoning in its worst form, bronchitis, pneumonia, burns, cuts, and tonsillitis. An outstanding healing was that of a badly fractured leg, which was healed with no other help than Christian Science. The practitioner was very faithful, and although we were not unmindful of our Leader's words on pages 401 and 402 of Science and Health, we knew a healing could be realized without a doctor. In nine weeks' time I was able to do all I was called on to do, and my leg was perfectly straight.
On page 385 of Science and Health Mrs. Eddy says, "Whatever it is your duty to do, you can do without harm to yourself." This was proved when I was called on to take care of two sick relatives. If it had not been for Christian Science I never could have done it.
I am very grateful to Mrs. Eddy, who was so spiritually inspired that she could give us this wonderful religion. I am also grateful to our faithful practitioners, who are ready to help us day or night. It would take too long to tell of all my healings and of how God has been my unfailing source of supply. I cannot find words to tell how grateful I am for Christian Science and for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church. I do thank God for all Christian Science has done for me and all mankind, and my earnest desire is to prove my oneness with God by demonstrating Christian Science. — Atchison, Kansas.
