NOTICES

From the December 1944 issue of The Christian Science Journal

As a progressive step in the radiocasting of Christian Science programs, beginning Saturday, November 4, 1944, weekly programs, prepared in The Mother Church, The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, under the direction of The Christian Science Board of Directors, will be put on the air by approximately sixty-four radio stations throughout the United States. The musical selections will be by the soloist and the organist of The Mother Church, and the church organ will be used.

Differences of time between the East Coast and the West Coast will be overcome by using electrical transcriptions. Most of the programs will be on Saturday; a few will be on Sunday. Local newspapers should be consulted for the exact time in each community.

These new programs will not displace all of the programs now being radiocast over
local stations.
