More than ten years ago I had a growth in my mouth which was very unpleasant. A daughter whom I visited in Texas suggested I see a dentist. She felt it might be an embedded piece of tooth, because I had had some teeth extracted some time before. But I did not, and went on to Chicago to stay with a friend who was a very devout Christian Scientist. One day she was going to a dentist and I asked her if I might accompany her. When the dentist examined my mouth, he threw up his hands in horror and said, "I am not telling you what it is, but you go to a specialist right now and have that cut out." It frightened me very much, and when we reached home I said to my friend, "I believe I shall go to the specialist." She replied, "Why don't you have Christian Science help?" I called a practitioner, and in a week's time I was healed.
I am surely grateful for Christian Science and to Mrs. Eddy for giving us this wonderful truth, which sets us free from all the inharmonies that flesh is heir to. I am thankful to God and to Christ Jesus. I have had many healings in Christian Science and I am thankful for them all. — Orlando, Florida.
