It is with deep gratitude to God that I testify to the healing power of Christian Science.
When a young child I loved the study of the Bible and attended an orthodox Sunday School and church. I remember asking my teacher why it was we could not heal as Jesus did, for it had always seemed to me that we should and could do the works which he did, as he said that we could. The teacher could not explain this to me, and after entering college I gave up my church for a time, as I could not understand its teachings.
Later, after I was married, the desire to attend some church was strong. I had merely heard of Christian Science and knew of a woman who had been healed of asthma.
