Contentment and peace have come to me as a result of my study and application of the teachings of Christian Science.
When I first learned of this Science I was suffering from a throat condition. After I had borrowed Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy and read only a few pages I slept peacefully, and when I awoke I was free. The following Sunday I attended a Church of Christ, Scientist, for I knew that this religion was what I had wanted for a long time. Some weeks afterward I was reminded to cover my throat, because the wintry winds had always brought pain and swelling of the glands, but I suddenly realized that there was no longer any tendency toward such an effect. The healing has remained permanent.
Within a few months the way opened for me to continue my schooling in Boston, and while there I attended and became a member of The Mother Church. Immediately thereafter I was engaged to work in the Christian Science Publishing House; then I received class instruction. All these blessings came to me within a period of approximately five years. God has been good to me. He makes the way clear when one yields to His direction.
