During childhood I attended many orthodox Sunday Schools but never felt satisfied with their teachings. However, when I began to read the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, I knew without a doubt that I had found the truth for which I had been searching.
For many years the revelation of God as a loving Father-Mother, ever caring for His creation, has brought continuous spiritual unfoldment. As I have applied the teachings of Christian Science to each aspect of my daily life, my outlook on life has changed. Fear and skepticism have given way to confidence and trust. Unhappiness and loneliness have been replaced with joy and a consciousness of ever-present Love. My interests have expanded, and a sense of well-being has come to me.
I have experienced many physical healings, among which were those of nervous disorders, influenza, headaches, and a sprained ankle. Abundant supply has been demonstrated, and the truth that man is always in his right place and under God's protection has been proved many times. Inharmonious human relationships have been overcome by the clear realization that all true relationship exists in God and therefore is spiritual and harmonious at all times, regardless of the testimony of the material senses.
