I should like to express my profound gratitude for Mrs. Eddy's revelation of Christian Science. Having been so richly blessed through the study and application of this Science, I welcome the opportunity to testify joyously to its healing power. It has brought to me such unmistakable evidence of the operation of God's law in human affairs that my gratitude for it knows no bounds.
I enjoyed the freedom of being reared in a Christian Science home and had the great benefit of attending the Sunday School. In my family there were healings of tumor, goiter, scarlet fever, and broken bones. I had few diseases, because of the prophylactic work of Christian Science in the home; and those which did appear were healed solely through the ministrations of the truth.
Our first child was born in the home of a Christian Science nurse while my husband was in the Army, and our second child was born at home. Both births were without medical aid, and the freedom experienced was a cause for great rejoicing.
