Jesus said (Matt. 10:8), "Freely ye have received, freely give." It has been many years now that I have freely received the blessings of Christian Science. So it is time that I give a testimony of some of the healings we have had in our family through the study and application of the truths found in Science and Health by our revered Leader, Mrs. Eddy.
It was through the healing of my mother and through her sincere desire to know something of the truth that Christian Science came into our family. She was healed of sick headaches and of wearing glasses by just reading Science and Health. At that time I was a young girl and was greatly impressed by her experience.
We have had many healings in our family. So-called children's diseases were quickly overcome through my own and my husband's understanding of the truth. There were times when the help of a Christian Science practitioner was needed and was lovingly given. Financial and business problems have been solved by our putting self aside and being willing to let God's will, instead of our own, be done.
