It is ten years since a testimony of mine was published, and since then we have had many more proofs of God's care.
At the end of World War II, we had little income, as our farm was needed for a housing estate. Clothes rationing continued, and our garments were few and shabby. We began to read articles on supply from the Christian Science periodicals and pondered the Bible words (Matt. 6:6), "Pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly."
We turned away from looking to matter for our supply and began to look to Spirit. A few weeks elapsed, and then seven large clothing parcels arrived from a Christian Scientist in Virginia. Not only were there enough clothes for me and for my family, but we were able to supply many others. How grateful we were to have demonstrated supply through our understanding of God!
