About twenty-eight years ago I had a testimony in the Christian Science Sentinel relating my healing and the healings of others in my family. Now I wish to express my gratitude for the blessings I have experienced since then. My healings have been the result of gaining a more spiritual understanding of the one perfect cause and perfect effect — perfect God and perfect man. I have been healed of frequent headaches, colds, sore throat, and bowel trouble. Many years have now passed, during which time I have been completely free from those difficulties. Our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, tells us in the textbook, Science and Health (p. 194), "When one's false belief is corrected, Truth sends a report of health over the body."
After being a widow for fourteen years, I remarried several years ago, and a happy companionship with a sincere Christian Scientist has been my joyous experience. I am sincerely grateful to have had the privilege of rearing two daughters, who attended the Christian Science Sunday School up to the age of twenty.
Mrs. Eddy tells us in our textbook (p. 232), "In the sacred sanctuary of Truth are voices of solemn import, but we heed them not." Some years ago one of my daughters was about to go in swimming with her husband. It was her custom before going into the water to place her diamond ring in a little pocket in her bathing suit.
