TRIUMPHING THROUGH DEMONSTRATION

From the September 1958 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Can anything be more comforting and reassuring or cause a greater song of gratitude in the heart than to know that there is a right solution of every human problem when it is sought through the understanding of the omnipotence of God?

Conviction regarding this fact is gained from the Bible through such promises as this of Christ Jesus (Matt. 19:26): "With God all things are possible." Also the Psalmist, referring to the man whose "delight is in the law of the Lord," said (Ps. 1:2, 3): "In his law doth he meditate day and night. . . . And whatsoever he doeth shall prosper."

Throughout the centuries these and other Scriptural promises have been read and accepted upon faith. Not until Christian Science was revealed to Mary Baker Eddy did the scientific understanding and power to demonstrate them become available in everyday life.
