I have had the privilege of being reared in Christian Science, and I have had many proofs of its ability to meet every need.
Several years ago I moved to a large city in which I was a stranger. With the help of Christian Science, I was soon satisfactorily settled in a well-paying job and in pleasant, convenient surroundings.
After working for some time, however, I began to feel that I was not really advancing. I was coming no nearer to the career for which I had been trained; nor had the true sense of home been adequately demonstrated. I took up these matters with a Christian Science practitioner, and through her help and my own study I saw that my concepts of a home and a career would improve as my knowledge of Christian Science grew and my practice of it increased. This was a period of joyful growth and anticipation as I developed a clearer understanding of God.
