"THE GUEST OF GOD"

From the September 1960 issue of The Christian Science Journal

There is no stranger, no alien, no restless wanderer in God's kingdom. Here all are forever at home, as citizens of an unassailable, all-encompassing spiritual realm.

Mrs. Eddy beautifully expresses this truth in Science and Health. Here she writes (p. 254), "Pilgrim on earth, thy home is heaven; stranger, thou art the guest of God."

The writer saw that to be "the guest of God" is to be enfolded within the ever-welcoming arms of Love, to share in the inexhaustible resources of Mind, to imbibe the rich spontaneity of Life, to rejoice in the processless knowing of Spirit. It is to acknowledge the wholeness of Soul, the unerring certainty of Truth. It is to be consciously subject to the sovereignty, government, jurisdiction, or law of unalterable divine Principle.
