The Heart's Glad notes

Isaiah 12:5

From the September 1960 issue of The Christian Science Journal

It cannot be that the heart's glad notes are stilled;
That apathy has muted pure desire.
The voice that tuned the music of the spheres
Will waken, guide, illumine, and inspire.
Man knows no blight, nor sorrow-pinioned hour;
He is, in truth, Mind's joyous entity.
Though gratefully we kneel to kiss Love's rod,
We rise in light to sing our thanks to God.
