The poet John Keats made an arresting statement when he wrote,
Beauty is truth, truth beauty,—that is all
Ye know on earth, and all ye need to know.
Since the earliest days of civilization, mankind has sought beauty, and philosophers have speculated on its nature. Mrs. Eddy places beauty in its rightful realm when she writes in Science and Health (p. 247), "Beauty is a thing of life, which dwells forever in the eternal Mind and reflects the charms of His goodness in expression, form, outline, and color."
