A Glorious promise is included in the record of St. John's vision of the ultimate spiritual reality which will be revealed when Christ, Truth, shall have overcome all erroneous belief. John relates (Rev. 21:3, 4): "I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men. . . . And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away."
"Neither shall there be any more pain." These words give hope to the sufferer and inspire him with new energy to reach out to God, divine Mind, in order to attain the heavenly state of thought which will relieve his discomfort. The glorious state in which the pains of sense are stilled and perfect harmony reigns is seen by the Revelator to be a demonstrable possibility. It can be reached here and now through the Christlike understanding that man, God's perfect image, is forever maintained in His likeness and can never be separated from the consciousness of infinite Love.
Real sensation is an attribute of Soul, of Mind, and not of matter. Man, being wholly spiritual, must be forever conscious of the outpouring of divine Love's blessings. These he discerns and enjoys spiritually in the beauty, harmony, comfort, and wellbeing of infinite Life.
