I should like to express my gratitude for Christian Science and for all the good that has come to me and my family through the application of its truths. I am very grateful for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church and for class instruction.
I found great strength in joining a branch church when I was eighteen years old, having attended the Sunday School from the time I was two years of age. Of course I continued attending the Sunday School until I was twenty, but membership in the church supported me when I was to be graduated from high school and found myself about to enter a large university and possibly to be faced with the temptation to smoke and drink. I am grateful to say that after taking my stand, I was not tempted to indulge in cigarettes and liquor, and I am sure that no one had more fun than I through all my college years.
After college I married a Christian Scientist, and our four children are now attending the Sunday School or nursery. Christian Science is meeting all their needs.
