The teachings of Christian Science have been a guiding and sustaining influence to me and my family for many years. During my early school years, my eyes, which were badly crossed, were healed through the application of our conviction that all human needs are met when the truth is faithfully applied.
Although it was necessary for me to change schools often, I maintained a good scholastic record by realizing the All-presence of divine Mind. I found the following Bible verses very helpful (Prov. 3:5, 6): "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."
At times of separation from my family during these school years, I overcame a great sense of loneliness by realizing that man is inseparable from his Father-Mother God and that he dwells forever in changeless Love.
