God has truly brought me "out of the house of bondage" (Ex. 13:3), into a wonderful spiritual freedom. I became interested in Christian Science about thirty-five years ago through reading copies of The Christian Science Journal and the Christian Science Sentinel left at our home by a friend of the family, a Christian Scientist. At that time I had been attending Sunday Schools of different denominations, but the answers I received to my questions did not seem to satisfy me.
About this time, I learned that there was a Christian Science Sunday School; so I started attending it. Although I did not receive any encouragement from my family to study Science, I have always been grateful they were good enough to allow the Christian Science books and periodicals in our home for me to read and study. I found answers to all my questions in Science and Health by our Leader, Mrs. Eddy. The Glossary of this textbook was especially helpful to me.
I am grateful for the excellent teaching I received in the Sunday School during the few years I was privileged to attend it. I remember one sentence my Sunday School teacher used very often. It was, "Do not give error a leg to stand on."
