When Jesus healed the sick by spiritual means alone he made available a method of healing that surpasses every other one. When this method is generally understood, as it surely will be, men will not relegate it to the realm of the mystical and so deprive themselves of the superior benefits of spiritual healing. They will, on the contrary, devote themselves to gaining an understanding of this spiritually scientific healing.
One cannot grasp this method of healing through material-mindedness. It takes spiritual-mindedness to appreciate the Master's approach to sin and disease and to understand his superiority over them. This being true, it is easy to realize what outstanding works of healing one will do as he becomes more spiritually-minded. The question is: How does one become spiritually-minded? The answer is: By thinking in terms of Spirit's allness; by awakening to the fact that in reality one is spiritual now and is presently living in a universe in which spiritual law is supreme.
This kind of thinking is, of course, contrary to the kind that rests upon the evidence of the material senses. But as one becomes spiritually-minded, even in a degree, he is not so dominated by the evidence of these senses and the conclusions drawn from it.
