THE UNINTERRUPTED HARMONY OF BEING

From the April 1963 issue of The Christian Science Journal

What joy comes to one as he reasons that nothing can disturb the harmony of man, for as God's idea or reflection he is ever aware of existence in God, all-harmonious Life! Nothing inharmonious can enter into man's being because Being is God, perfect Life, expressing Himself and His nature throughout the infinite universe. Then unchanging harmony is the fact.

Through Christian Science, one sees being as it really is, and the worry that discord may come into one's experience in the future disappears. Problems are solved, and the sense of discord in one's present existence is dispelled, as one realizes the ever-presence of perfect Life and its uninterrupted harmony.

Mortals think of substance as inert matter; but substance is ever harmoniously active, for substance is Life, Spirit. Mortals, thinking of substance as frail, mutable matter, believe that impairment, deterioration, and decay can enter one's being; but when one realizes that existence is in eternal Soul, Life, one is lifted above such beliefs.
