My first testimony appeared in the Journal of June, 1954. Since that time I have experienced many further proofs of God's loving care for His children. Happy companionship and a pleasant home have blessed me considerably, and these unfolded naturally through a clearer understanding of God as Father-Mother and of the Bible assurance, "Thy Maker is thine husband" (Isa.54:5).
About four years ago I discovered a growth on my head. Though painless, this growth was rather troublesome, and fear as to what it might be was expressed by my hairdresser. For a period I took care of my hair myself and gave much thought to spiritual things. "Grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ" (II Pet. 3:18) was an injunction that constantly came to me.
Although the growth grew larger, I decided to return to my hairdresser. Fear was still expressed by her and her assistant. However, I felt sure that Love had directed me to return because I had fully realized that this condition was no part of me as man, God's idea, and that in truth it had no existence. Soon after my return to the hairdresser I awakened one morning to find that the growth was draining, and the healing was soon complete.
