One Wise Man

Ecclesiastes 9:14, 15

From the May 1964 issue of The Christian Science Journal

Besieged by a mighty foe,

His wisdom stopped their fall,
Their defeat, and a slave's hard lot,
How I wished I could find and tell him
That for more than two thousand years
Others, through his inspiration
Have conquered their foes and their fears!
