Abundant Life

Christian Science teaches that God is the source of all that really exists. This Science declares that the understanding of the true nature of this source and man's relationship to it is the basis of abundant living. It shows how this understanding can be practically demonstrated in greater freedom of action, more enduring happiness and health, and an increasing awareness of good in every aspect of one's experience.

Moses, through his intuitive spiritual sense, recognized that the source of all being is forever declaring itself as I am. He proved this source to be an ever-available power which guides, supports, guards, and loves its own creation and a divine presence which supplies man, its perfect reflection, with ever-continuing life and intelligence. Through spiritual inspiration Moses set forth the great fact that this power and presence is the one and only God, the only cause of all that exists.

Later, Christ Jesus, our Way-shower, taught that man is inseparable from the one I am, or the divine Ego, which is God, when he declared, "I and my Father are one."
 John 10:30; What a simple pronouncement this is of the oneness of being! And the fact that man includes all that God expresses is brought out in these words from Jesus' parable of the prodigal son: "Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine." Luke 15:31;
