The Normal class of the Board of Education was held early in December. In compliance with the By-Law, Article XXX, Section 1, of the Manual of The Mother Church by Mary Baker Eddy, this class convenes on the first Wednesday of December in each third year.

A practitioner and teacher of Christian Science, Mrs. Nay has served the movement in many capacities, including President of The Mother Church.

The class was composed of pupils from South Africa, Australia, England, France, Germany, and Switzerland, as well as from the District of Columbia and the following states: Arizona, California, Iowa, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin.
