I first became acquainted with Christian Science in July, 1941. Since then my life has been completely changed.
I had gone from Rosario, Argentina, to Montevideo, Uruguay, to find peace. My health was very bad. I was having a nervous breakdown. I was anemic and was suffering from continual headaches, which left me prostrate in bed. I could not walk even half a block because of an acute pain in the abdomen.
On arriving in Montevideo, alone and friendless, I spent many hours in church hoping to find peace and relief from my sufferings. Since the situation had not changed at the end of three months, I decided to return home. A few days before returning, I had a dream which seemed very strange and which I was unable to explain at that time.
