God causes us to know Him.
A friend told me that her little granddaughter suddenly said out loud in her presence, "God is Love." The child's parents are not Christian Scientists, and the child has not gone to Sunday School. The grandmother said, "Out of the blue this statement came. I was much impressed."
Clearly it was God, the divine Mind, who caused the child to know and feel that the power of the universe is Love. When the child said, "God is Love," she was responding to the same Mind that caused John to know, feel, and write this truth in the Bible.See I John 4:8;
