Working It Out with God

From the November 1972 issue of The Christian Science Journal

In its beauty and simplicity the study of Christian Science brings great warmth and goodness into one's daily experience. It develops the consciousness of God's ever-presence as one increases in spiritual understanding of God and of man's eternal relationship to Him.

Christian Science shows convincingly that God's love and help are never failing, and that prayer is effective. The Bible and the Christian Science textbook, Science and Health by Mrs. Eddy, reveal the truth of man's unbroken unity with God, divine Mind, as His perfect, indestructible ever-active idea, and the inseparability of the idea from its divine source.

As one begins to comprehend his spiritual identity and individuality, he begins to see others as individual spiritual ideas. And each one is just that—individual and spiritual, not a bundle of human traits and habits. It becomes clear that one's intelligence, completeness, and ability reflect the wisdom, wholeness, and power of God, because God, Spirit, is the Principle of all being, and all that exists expresses Him.
