A Family's Most Valuable Asset

From the September 1972 issue of The Christian Science Journal

If asked to name my family's most valuable asset, I would answer, "The Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly."

These Bible Lessons are marvels of purity, beauty, and wisdom. They present God's Word to a world that is hungering for the pure affection of the Christ.

The manifold purpose of the Lesson-Sermon is to heal, educate, bless. It is an eloquent pastor, and its message is free from personal opinion. It presents the Science of Christianity in a clearly defined, understandable way, so that each one may take from it day by day the spiritual truth that meets his individual need. Since the truth unfolded is infinite in scope, its meaning and application are shown in countless fresh and inspiring ways. They are always practical and demonstrable in daily life.
