I am grateful for the teaching of Christian Science and the blessings that it has brought into my life.
Soon after uniting with a branch Church of Christ, Scientist, I became aware of a confident serenity and joy with which certain members went about their activities. When I realized that all of these dear people were class-taught students of Christian Science, I knew that to have class instruction was the logical next step for me to take. This conclusion reached, the choice of a teacher quickly was shown me through prayer. Shortly after I was accepted as a pupil, but before the class sessions actually began, I underwent a severe testing time.
For several years I had been bothered by a chronic back problem, which now reappeared in a very aggravated form accompanied by pain such as I had never before experienced.
