Deny Evil both Agent and Victim

From the November 1973 issue of The Christian Science Journal

How can we be more free of the damaging propensities we so often see in ourselves and others: personal domination and tyranny, deceit and hatred, feelings of inadequacy and fear?

By turning to God, Spirit, who is all-powerful, infinite good, the only creator. By reasoning that man and the universe must be spiritual and perfect, governed by God's law of harmonious action. By acknowledging God and His creation, His expression, as the only reality of being.

Then the spiritual understanding of God as good and All comes to us and takes possession of our lives. This Christ-power unfolding in our consciousness acts as a fan to sift the chaff from the wheat, evil from good, unreality from reality. Spiritual understanding sifts ungodlike concepts out of consciousness by showing evil's nothingness. Then our outward experience reflects our improved mental state.
