What am I doing teaching a Sunday School class?
That question hit me one Sunday morning on the way to my class. Not the best timing, but there it was. And it wouldn't move. It seemed absurd, but absurd questions are often the right ones, so I started thinking of reasons.
One, I was deeply grateful for Christian Science. It had waked me up to the real spiritual me. Two, I wanted to share the good news of spiritual reality anywhere I could, and Sunday School was one place to do it. Three, the specific truths of that week's Lesson-Sermon would be directly helpful to the life and work of the college students I taught, and together we would discuss and correlate them.
