A condition of failing eyesight, difficulty in articulation, loss of balance, and with this a terrible sense of fear seemed to dominate my life and being. I was forced to give up my employment and limit my activity.
Having been raised in Christian Science, and knowing that all things are possible to God, I tried to live a normal life by attending our branch church, serving on committees, and giving testimonies at our Wednesday evening meetings. The housework and caring for my family were accomplished without outside help.
