Announcement of New Trustee

From the April 1973 issue of The Christian Science Journal

The Trustees of The Christian Science Publishing Society with the approval of The Christian Science Board of Directors announce the appointment of Eric Bole, C. S., of London, England, as a Trustee of the Publishing Society effective January 12, 1973. Mr. Bole succeeds Richard N. Heath, whose resignation has been reluctantly accepted.

A lifelong Christian Scientist, Mr. Bole received a Master's Degree in History and an Education Diploma from Cambridge University in England. He had class instruction in Christian Science in 1951 and served on the staff of The Principia in various capacities, including that of vice-president. Mr. Bole also served as Manager, Executive Department of The Mother Church. In December of 1970 he resigned from the latter post to devote himself entirely to the public practice of Christian Science.

Mr. Heath began serving the Cause of Christian Science as a Trustee on May 1, 1970. Previous to that he had been Committee on Publication for Illinois. Mr. Heath's background was in the advertising field, where he was president of Leo Burnett Company, Inc. He has been of invaluable assistance to the Trustees, and they are grateful for his contribution.
