I am especially grateful to have been healed of an infected growth on my head. This condition was accompanied with pains, and sometimes my eyes were affected. When I turned to a Christian Science practitioner for treatment through prayer, she said, "God is demanding something of you."
She helped me glimpse that my spiritual identity is my true body, my individuality is my divine nature or character as God's reflection, material personality is a falsity, and the physical problem an unreality. I had to overcome many false beliefs. Also I had to give expression to more of my innermost feelings, which were good and loving.
A study of Truth's demands revealed the necessity to recognize that God is manifesting Himself through man and to identify the good qualities I express as coming from God and belonging to God.
