Eighth Church of Christ, Scientist, Chicago, has conducted a Sharing Church project since 1968. Their method is friendly and straightforward.
On the first Saturday of each month, the Sharing Church Committee meets, and starts its project with prayer. In addition to readings from the Bible and Mrs. Eddy's writings, prayerful preparation includes study assignments on such topics as motive, purpose, and so forth.
