The implicit belief of wholly material thought that it holds within itself the capacity for ultimate knowing—that it can know all things about all things, and someday will do so—sets up a hotbed of mortal will. We begin to control some of the unhappy expressions of mortal will as we recognize that ultimate truth cannot be found within the scope of material thinking.
