When we pray
"Thy will be done,"
do we say it sadly,
thinking, Thy will
be submitted to—
as though asked to bear
a heavy burden?
Or do we pray
with grateful heart,
meaning, Thy will's
accomplished—
knowing that
since God is good,
His plan for us is good
and we can trustingly
rely on Him
to bring our life
to full fruition?
